A company in the Biotechnology sector, creator of Integral Solutions for Continuous Non-Invasive Monitoring. It creates Devices that make people's lives easier by monitoring their parameters without them noticing, without pain, without discomfort, wherever they are. In the practice of sport or in everyday life. The first focus has been on lactate measurement, initially centring his project on the world of Sport. However, it has other Biomarkers in mind, including the measurement of glucose levels, aimed at diabetic patients. The company needs to incorporate FIRMWARE ENGINEER (SIGNAL ANALYSIS / ALGORITHM DEVELOPMENT / SENSOR CALIBRATION / EMBEDDED SOFTWARE). Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a full-time position as a Firmware Engineer acting as a developer on a project involving Sensing Development technology. This position relates to Final Stages of a project that focuses on the commercialisation of a PPG-based monitoring medical device, but it is expected that the role will carry into other products under development, subject to successful attainment of project milestones. JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a dynamic and motivated team developing a medical product for use in extensive care IoT applications. The candidate will be involved in the implementation of signal analysis to develop tailored embedded algorithms in a fast-paced environment, encompassing the final stage of project development, implementation, verification and validation for MDR and FDA certification. The candidate will be responsible of the implementation of data analysis, processing algorithms and calibration, as well as carrying out verification and validation studies. The candidate will work in close conjunction with our electronics and software engineers already working on the hardware and sensing parts of the device. In addition to working closely with other members of the internal technical team, they will also engage with regulatory affairs to successfully certify a medical device. Work and collaborate in a team with broad expertise in areas associated with medical device development. Have oversight and provide technical insight over the development of device required data analysis, algorithm development and calibration. Assist on the design and implementation of experimental procedures, providing tools for data acquisition and processing, including embedded solutions. Develop and optimize firmware / embedded algorithms for: Experimental procedures, processing algorithms and data analysis. Develop and optimize firmware / embedded algorithms for: Product validation and release. Proactively identify related technical solutions and risks for project deliverables. Work in the transfer of knowledge, processes and documentation required for MDR certification. Documenting work in line with quality systems.

Requisits

  • Experiència 3 anys. Minimum of 3-year experience on a relatable industry.
  • Anglès (parlat c1 - d.funcional, escrit c1 - d.funcional)
  • Competències / coneixements: degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics or related field. Evidence of expert knowledge in the area of algorithm development, data analysis and embedded software. Demonstrable experience in programming languages for embedded software (c/c++). Programming skills in a language / software relevant to the development (python). Use of repository version control systems (git). Motivated and independent person, dynamic, creative thinker and problem solver. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
