Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test novel materials or composites, with a focus on biocompatibility and performance. Conduct experimental work including synthesis, fabrication, and mechanical/chemical testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality, and regulatory affairs. Analyse data, prepare technical reports, and present findings to internal stakeholders and external partners. Support prototyping, scaling, and technology transfer processes. Support the end-to-end process, from prototyping to commercialization, including stocks and quality checks. Support prototype testing for the final user. Liaise with external providers. Stay current with emerging technologies and scientific literature in the field.

Requisits

• Experiència 2 anys. Qualifications and experience: bachelor’s, master’s in materials science, biomaterials, biomedical engineering, or a closely related field. hands-on experience in materials testing, modification, or characterization techniques (ideally 2 years minimum). strong analytical and problem-solving skills. attention to detail. excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment languages required: spanish and english
• Llicenciatura o enginyeria
• Master’s in materials science
• Espanyol (parlat c1 - d.funcional, escrit c1 - d.funcional)
• Anglès (parlat c1 - d.funcional, escrit c1 - d.funcional)
• Competències / coneixements: preferred qualifications (not required): experience with additive manufacturing, polymers, hydrogels, or tissue engineering. background in working with startups, research institutions, or interdisciplinary product development teams. languages: catalan will be an asset
