The incumbent is responsible of driving the development and implementation of the Patient International strategy for the assigned TA and developing assets and solutions for the countries to deploy (excluded US). This critical role will be responsible for working closely with Local Medical Heads and Business Unit’s leadership to manage business performance and identify opportunities to improve performance to better serve patients. An essential element of success is a demonstrated ability to influence without authority and successfully negotiate and collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., marketing, market access, commercial operations, compliance, IT, legal, regulatory, training, medical, and field leadership). Reporting to the Head of Patient Services this role is a high-profile position with the opportunity to make a major impact on patients’ lives and at Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease This individual will collaborate cross-functionally while delivering assets and solutions and guiding countries in implementing those. Beyond driving the strategy for the assigned TA, the incumbent will play a key role in driving the asset creation across TAs and may be required to maintain executional oversight of the assigned vendor(s).

Lead best-in-class strategy and operating model for the assigned TA, including launch planning for future indications and line extensions, focused on exceptional patient experience and continuous improvement Work closely with Marketing, Market Access, Legal, Compliance, Quality, Drug Safety, Commercial Operations, IT, Training, third parties and vendors to ensure that patient support programs and messaging are effectively meeting the needs of patients Align with local PSP teams in their TA to drive actionable recommendations and ensure effective and compliant implementation of PSP. Lead internal benchmarking of PSP performance in their TA to identify innovation opportunities. Manage the assigned vendors, perform bidding, due diligence, onboarding activities and follow through to ensure delivery against the timelines and allocated budget Lead the creation of assets & solutions across the TAs as agreed with the TAs Leads and play a key role in facilitating International MLR / Global MRC approval processes and support countries’ deployment of approved assets & solutions Drive in Advisory Board and other external stakeholder events preparation and execution (HCPs and Patients) The incumbent may take over ad hoc projects and additional responsibilities, in line with business needs

Requisitos

  • Experiencia 5 años. Advanced degree (RN, MBA, MPH, PharmD, PhD, MD) Direct experience in managing Patient Services and or digital solutions for external customers Experience in working in a highly matrix environment Vendor management (e.g., clinical trial management) Fluency in multiple languages Previous experience in global or regional roles
